Program Objectives
To empower individuals to gently reconnect with their bodies and emotions without needing to verbalize their struggles, through safe, guided somatic movement grounded in trauma-informed principles.
This course:
- Is not therapy but trauma-sensitive and designed by a certified psychologist.
- Offers weekly drop-in classes, each with a unique somatic focus.
- Is suitable for those feeling emotionally “stuck,” overwhelmed, or numb—but not yet ready for verbal therapy.
- Incorporates experiential learning using somatic therapy, EMDR-inspired bilateral stimulation, mindfulness, dance movement therapy, and yoga therapy.
Who Should Attend?
This program is for you if…
- You’re feeling emotionally overwhelmed, numb, anxious, or “stuck”—but not quite ready to talk about it.
- You’ve tried talk therapy but sensed something was missing—like your body wasn’t part of the process.
- You’re curious about body-based healing and want a gentle, guided introduction.
- You’ve experienced stress, burnout, trauma, or emotional fatigue, and want to reconnect with your body in a safe way.
- You find it hard to feel safe in your own skin, or often feel disconnected from your physical self.
- You struggle with boundaries, overthinking, or emotional regulation—but don’t have words to explain why.
- You want to explore healing without needing to share your story or relive painful memories.
No prior experience in movement, yoga, or mindfulness is required. This course is open to adults of all backgrounds, genders, and fitness levels. Whether you’re brand new to somatic work or looking to deepen your existing self-regulation practice, you are welcome here.
If you’re not yet ready for therapy—but ready to try something different—this space was designed with you in mind.
