With a warm and thoughtful presence, Zhang Wen is dedicated to walking alongside individuals as they navigate life’s challenges. Wen’s approach is holistic, respectful of each client’s unique journey, and grounded in empathy and cultural sensitivity. 

Experience and Expertise

Currently completing a Postgraduate Diploma in Counselling Psychology at the College of Allied Education, Wen has fulfilled all academic requirements and clocked over 100 hours of practicum and supervision. Her training emphasizes Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Person-Centered approaches, along with practicum experience supporting individuals with neurodiverse profiles.

Wen brings with her a wealth of life and work experience that enhances her therapeutic insight. As a home tutor for a child with ADHD and dyslexia, she has developed a deep understanding of how to tailor communication and learning to meet individual needs—skills that naturally translate into her counselling work. She integrates structure, patience, and creative problem-solving into her sessions.

Prior to her counselling journey, Wen spent over a decade in branding, communications, and education roles, where she led regional teams, developed digital content strategies, and facilitated meaningful client relationships. Her background in marketing, education, and business development across multiple industries gives her a strong foundation for connecting with individuals from diverse walks of life.
