Maeve Woh is an experienced yoga practitioner and instructor dedicated to holistic wellness. Her journey into yoga began in 2018 as a way to quiet her “monkey mind” and cultivate mental stillness. Drawing on her tertiary education in psychology, lifelong passion for movement, and a deep affinity with nature, Maeve explored ecopsychology and completed an intensive 300-hour yoga teacher training that first revealed to her the profound mind–body connection inherent in yoga.

Experience and Expertise

Maeve’s teaching philosophy centers on breathwork and mindfulness techniques, which she integrates into her classes to enhance mental clarity and emotional balance. She frequently leads outdoor sessions to immerse clients in nature, reflecting her belief in the inseparable link between personal well-being and planetary health.

Certified Yoga Therapist

Building on her foundational training, Maeve is now a trained Yoga Therapist (certification pending completion of practicum), having completed a 300-hour Yoga Therapy Certification Course. This advanced qualification equips her to:

  • Conduct comprehensive assessments of posture, movement patterns, and lifestyle factors to identify individual needs.

  • Design and implement personalised yoga-therapy plans that address common conditions such as back pain, anxiety, stress, insomnia, and other lifestyle-related ailments.

  • Integrate therapeutic tools—including breath regulation, targeted asana sequencing, mindfulness, and relaxation practices—to support rehabilitation, manage chronic pain, and enhance overall resilience.

  • Track progress with evidence-based parameters and adjust interventions to ensure safe, measurable outcomes.

With this additional expertise, Maeve offers sessions that move beyond general instruction to provide tailored, therapeutic yoga interventions for physical, mental, and emotional healing.

Maeve holds a Bachelor of Social Sciences (Honours) in Psychology from the National University of Singapore. Through her integrated approach—combining psychology, ecopsychology, and evidence-based yoga therapy—she guides clients on a transformative journey of self-discovery and sustainable well-being, nurturing both body and mind.
